This privacy policy reflects the strong commitment of Steve Kuykendall and the Kuykendall Assembly Committee to protecting your online privacy and any information you choose to share with us.How we use the information you provide:
When you volunteer with the Kuykendall Assembly Committee, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, email address and/or IM address. We use the information you provide to send you news and information about Steve Kuykendall and his campaign. We will not sell this information to any third party.
Under election laws, we are required to make periodic filings that provide the certain contribution information to governing authorities with information on each contributor: name, address, amount of contribution, date of contribution, employer and occupation. To make a contribution online, we also ask for your credit card number and its expiration date.
Every precaution must be taken to protect children online. We ask children 13 and under not to share any information with this Web site. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children 13 and under.
How we protect your information:
We take great care to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. The information will sit on a server which is located in a locked and secure environment. We use certain common tools and techniques in an effort to protect against unauthorized access to our systems. We also work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission via the campaign website (when you make a donation or register for our email list) by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Access to your information is granted only to you and authorized staff.
